Robicheaux Haven was founded with a deep passion for making a lasting impact in the lives of individuals with special needs. The facility is the vision of Chrissy Robicheaux, who brings over 30 years of experience in the field of education particularly in special education, where she has dedicated her career to supporting, teaching, and empowering students with developmental disabilities. Her extensive experience as both a teacher, coach, and mentor has provided her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges these individuals face and the strategies that help them thrive.

Working alongside Chrissy is her husband, Michael Robicheaux, a compassionate advocate for creating a family-centered environment where special needs educators, families, and individuals come together to promote growth, independence, and inclusion. His belief in community, family, and empowerment is woven into the very foundation of Robicheaux Haven.

This work is dedicated to their beloved son, Christian “Jerel” Robicheaux, whose vision and spirit continue to inspire every aspect of the organization. Jerel had a heart for helping others and a natural love for entrepreneurship. He often encouraged his parents to start a family business one that would not only make a difference in people’s lives but also reflect the values of compassion, service, and family unity that he lived by. Robicheaux Haven stands as a living tribute to his legacy, blending his entrepreneurial spirit with his parents’ lifelong dedication to education and care.

Together, the Robicheaux family has built more than a facility, they’ve created a haven of hope, growth, and belonging.
